The best ever healthy burgers! You can’t really go wrong with buffalo flavor– just thinking about the flavor in these burgers makes my mouth water. Paired with some crispy potatoes and a big salad and you’re set!

This is one of the first recipes I made for my old site- I was really excited to retest this and reshoot it. We enjoyed this meal so much afterward– it’s satisfying, filling, and it comes together in 20 minutes. The best kinds of meals are the simplest ones!

For the buffalo aspect, I recommend Frank’s Red Hot or New Primal paleo buffalo sauce. They’re both delicious, and they’re both made with simple ingredients! It’s important to be mindful of all ingredients, even in sauces/condiments. I actually find this is one of the biggest places where poor ingredients sneak in. Always read your label!

There are also some hidden veggies in these, which you guys know I’m all about. Some carrots and spinach for a little nutrient boost!

This is a perfect weeknight staple to have in your back pocket, especially for those nights where you want something delish and healthy but don’t want to spend an hour or more in the kitchen.

Enjoy!

Easily one of my favorite recipes on here – and that’s saying a lot since everything on this site is SO good. It’s quick and easy and makes the perfect meal for almost any occasion: simple week night dinners/meal prep for weekday lunches, staying in and cooking on the weekends, potlucks, grilling out when family comes in town, etc. Plus you feel like the epitome of #health and #wellness while you eat something that tastes just as good (if not better) as a normal burger. I’ve already convinced myself to make them again this week… Moral of the story: Mia, you have special magical powers in the kitchen and this meal is proof.

These burgers are AMAZING. Even using turkey they are incredibly moist and flavorful. Thanks Mia!

  3. Chels says:

Obsessed with how easy and delicious these are – even the left overs on day two. Highly highly recommend for something that’s quick & easy!

  4. Eliza says:

Such a delicious, easy recipe! Loved the buffalo flavor and had just enough spice without being too overpowering. Great weeknight dish and is perfect served on lettuce instead of a bun with a side of avocado and oven-baked fries. Already excited to make these again!

These burger are to die for!!! I made these as an easy meal prep item and they are one of my favorite meal prepped lunches to date (I rotate weekly so that is saying a LOT). I did not have chives or ranch, but they came out just fine without! I love the added veggies and they make the burgers jucier as well! I baked mine instead of pan frying, as it was just easier for me, and they came out perfectly. A simple google search on baking time was what I used. I paired mine with a Japanese sweet potato slice for a bun and the sweet with the spicy was unreal. I’m so glad I found this recipe!

  6. Stephanie says:

I love this recipe and so does my mom, so much so that she makes a batch just about every other week and freezes them to always have a stash. We are obsessed and love that we can swap in slightly different veggies like bell pepper or whatever we have around. Thanks, Mia!!

  7. Jena says:

Hi Mia. I’ve made this recipe a few times and it’s amazing but I recently developed an egg allergy and was wondering if you could leave out the egg or have a suggestion for a substitute?

    • Mia Swinehart says:

Hi jena. I have not tried this without the egg so I can’t say for sure, but you can try skipping it an dit may turn out totally fine!
