The most perfect simple and delicious diced chicken taco meat!
Ingredients
Scale
1 taco seasoning packet (spicy or mild)
4–6 chicken cutlets (or chicken breasts cut in half to make your own thin cutlets)
Avocado or olive oil
Limes (optional)
Instructions
Rub avocado oil or olive oil all over the chicken cutlets, then season each cutlet with about 1 tbsp of taco seasoning (no need to be super exact- just season well).
Heat a grill pan or regular pan over medium heat with a splash of oil. Cook each cutlet for 4-6 minutes per side, until browned and an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.
Allow chicken to sit and cool for 5 minutes, then dice into small pieces. Squeeze lime juice over the chicken (optional) and serve.
