A super seedy bircher to start your day off on the
right foot!
This filling and nourishing breakfast (or snack!) has the best flavor ever thanks to combination of siggi’s plant-based raspberry blend and apple! No extra sweeteners needed; it’s so delicious as is!
What is bircher?!
There are a few variations of this breakfast food, but essentially it’s a seedy version of overnight oats. It has actually been around for a long time, before overnight oats became a such a hit. It’s a delicious blend of oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, grated apple, and more. The addition of plant-based yogurt in my recipe makes it super creamy.
I have been absolutely loving this quick and easy
breakfast. I love a simple recipe that you can throw together the night before
and enjoy in the morning without any hassle! I love adding siggi’s new plant-based
blend to this combination- it’s the very best plant-based blend I have ever
tried! Plus, it adds a protein boost to the mix! Finally, a plant-based yogurt
with more protein than sugar. Yay!
All of their new plant-based flavors are honestly so delicious- I was so impressed when I first got to try them. For this recipe, I used the raspberry- but their mixed berry flavor works really great in here as well!
I think raspberry and apple is such an underrated
fruit combination! With a little bit of cinnamon and the crunchy cacao nibs
that get mixed in- it is just too good!
The healthy fats and fiber from all of the seeds make this
recipe filling; it also makes for great “brain food” to start your day with
focus and energy. Bonus: many of the ingredients in this recipe contain
prebiotics, which support a healthy gut and help us to absorb the the
gut-friendly bacteria found in yogurt! All around, this is a really great way
to start your day J
For taking this breakfast or snack on the go, I love using these jars (I buy the 7 oz or the 12 oz).
I love to buy all of the seeds in bulk and keep in jars for easy prep, and I always have my siggi’s on hand! Just mix it all up in a jar and you’re set- couldn’t be easier.
I recommend checking the siggi’s store locator if you are ever looking for where to find a specific product near you!
Be sure to let me know if you give this one a try!
Enjoy! xo
