The best ever fluffy gluten free banana cake with chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting!

This cake is truly my idea of heaven! It combines some of my favorite things- bananas, chocolate, and cream cheese frosting.

The cake itself is soft, fluffy, and moist. You would truly never know it’s gluten free! It’s just so good. It’s based off another one of my favorite banana cakes with dairy free chocolate frosting.

The cream cheese frosting is smooth, luscious, and perfectly sweet. I want to serve it on every dessert from here on out, it’s just so perfect.

The recipe is gluten free and grain free, too! It’s made with very simple and healthier ingredients. The cake is made with almond flour and tapioca starch- 2 of my favorite gluten free flours to bake with!

This gluten free banana chocolate chip cake makes the perfect birthday treat, pot luck dessert, family gathering, etc. It’s just one of those desserts you can’t go wrong with and everyone will love it. I am SO excited for you all to make this cake! Be sure to let me know if you give it a try!

  1. Nina says:

I made this today as I had very ripe bananas that needed to be used up and it did NOT disappoint. Sooo good! It’s the perfect amount of sweetness and you can’t even tell it’s gluten free nor made with better for you ingredients! I will definitely be making this again.

  2. Bonnie Lynn Kitchen says:

I just made this following the method to the letter. Put it on the oven only then to see 1 cup of chocolate chips on the counter while I was washing up. Cake had already been in the oven 10 minutes. . .
