You can whip this sauce up in just 10 minutes. As soon as your pasta is ready, your sauce will be just about ready to go, too!
What should I serve this with?
It pairs perfectly with any pasta you have on hand, plus any veggies and/or protein!
I personally love serving this with some brown rice pasta, ground chicken, spinach, and broccoli. It’s also perfect served over salmon or shrimp and spaghetti or angel hair pasta!
However, you can really use it any way you like! It really is super versatile! 🙂
The perfect meal to use up anything you have at home.
This red pepper sauce is so luscious, full of flavor, and also sneaks in some veggies! The base is jarred roasted peppers, so there is minimal prep required. Plus some marinara, veggie broth, heavy cream, olive oil, parmesan, and some simple seasonings. Doesn’t get much simpler than that!
I know you guys will love this one- it has QUICKLY become a favorite in our house! I could eat this daily and never get sick of it to be honest! It’s just that good, and so perfect to make after a busy day when you don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen.
Can this be made dairy free?

The most simple and delicious creamy roasted red pepper pasta sauce!
Ingredients
Scale
10–12 oz pasta of choice
1 cup packed roasted red peppers from the jar (drained)
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp Italian seasonings
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup low sodium veggie broth
1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated or shredded will work)
Instructions
Start by making your pasta according to directions on packaging.
While pasta is cooking, make your sauce. Add the peppers, marinara, and olive oil to your blender. Blend until smooth, then add garlic and give it another quick blend to mince the garlic.
Pour sauce into a large pan over medium low heat. Add seasonings, then bring to a simmer for 3-5 minutes minutes.
Add heavy creamy and broth; bring to a simmer again for 2 minutes.
Turn off heat and stir in parmesan, pasta, and basil. Serve and enjoy!
