Smoked Salmon Teriyaki Bowls! This meal very quickly became a staple for us during kitchen renovations — It’s quick, easy, nourishing, satisfying, and even toddler approved (minus the edamame, but you can’t win ’em all)!!

This recipe requires super minimal ingredients, very little chopping, and made from things we almost always keep on hand. It’s a great source of Omega-3’s, fiber, protein, and vitamins and minerals to nourish your family with. Plus, the flavor is SO delicious from the smoked salmon mixed with the teriyaki sauce!

Made from smoked salmon (I used canned), this recipe required very minimal cooking. We don’t have a microwave right now, but you could even opt to use microwavable rice and microwave the edamame for even LESS cooking time, more like a 10 minute meal!

I’ve become really into smoked canned salmon. The flavor is so delicious (I like to get one smoked with brown sugar for some sweetness). Plus, no cooking or prep required, and you can keep some stocked in the pantry at all times for an easy lean protein option!

I cooked my rice on our side burner on our grill, then mixed in the edamame in the last 5 minutes. Worked perfectly and saved on some extra clean up!

Once your rice and edamame is cooked, you can assemble your bowl. Mix in your smoked salmon, avocado, green onion, and your favorite teriyaki sauce. That’s it! You could also add some chopped spinach, broccoli, or any other veggies you have on hand. But, I think this is delicious and perfect as is, while being so simple to make.

This smoked salmon teriyaki bowl can be made gluten free and soy free, too! Just choose a teriyaki sauce that works for your needs. I already can’t wait to make this meal again, and I can’t wait for you all to try this one. Be sure to let me know if you make this– I love seeing your recreations!
