High Protein Sausage + Cheese Biscuits

Description

Fluffy high protein sausage, green pepper, and cheese biscuits!

Ingredients

Scale

For the sausage (makes extra):

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the biscuits:

  • 1 cup of your cooked beef (about 5 oz)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk, plus more for brushing tops
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup finely diced green pepper
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp melted salted butter
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a pan with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, onion, and maple syrup. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Blend cottage cheese and milk until creamy. Combine with cheese, cooked ground beef, peppers, maple syrup, and melted butter.
  4. In a separate large bowl, mix together all of your dry ingredients. Add to your wet ingredients until just combined- dough will be crumbly and looks slightly dry. That’s OK! Turn your dough out onto a clean floured work surface. Use floured hands to combine the dough to make it less crumbly and into more of a dough.
  5. Flatten dough out as much as you can into a rectangle about 3/4 inch thick. Don’t worry about it being too perfect! Fold one end of the rectangle into the center, and then the other end of the rectangle over it, like a letter.
  6. Flatten dough again into a more narrow rectangle that is again about 3/4 inch thick. Repeat the process of folding one end into the center and then the other end over it. This is what creates the layers in the biscuits!
  7. Cut dough into 6-9 biscuits (use a knife to cut square biscuits or a biscuit cutter for round ones).
  8. Brush the tops with milk and then bake for 20-27 minutes (depending on size of your biscuits- smaller ones will cook faster), until tops are slightly brown in centers are set. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before enjoying. Optional: brush tops w/ butter + maple syrup!

I recently came across some materials about the development of international iGaming companies in the USA and noticed how important the topic of adapting platforms to different markets has become. Users now value services that are fast, intuitive, and without a cluttered interface. I liked the approach of using technology not for complex effects, but to make interactions truly comfortable. I believe the combination of analytics, convenience, and personalization is particularly influential in the success of digital platforms today. From what I’ve been learning recently, the modern online platform market is increasingly moving toward personalized experiences. Users https://wikitia.com/wiki/Uri_Poliavich are no longer satisfied with standard functionality—they want to feel that the service is tailored to their interests and habits. I was interested to read about projects that use AI, gamification, and analytics to improve audience engagement. Such solutions appear much more modern and create the feeling of a more thoughtful and high-quality user experience.

Super delicious! I was worried these wouldn’t come together because the dough was so shaggy, but they baked up into lovely little biscuits. The kids and adults in my home all loved them! The beef was delicious – next time I’ll definitely add more to the dough because it wasn’t as detectable as I would have liked.

My laptop has been running incredibly slow all day, so I decided to sit down and finally clean out my messy browser bookmarks from last year. Among my old university links and Australian job search portals, I found this completely random address https://play-io-casino.com/ saved in a folder named miscellaneous. I have absolutely no idea how it got there, so I just deleted it straight away.
