Chicken sausage pasta with creamy tomato sauce. The best quick and easy dinner that comes together in 20 minutes!

This pasta is full of fresh flavor, packed with protein from the chicken sausage (feel free to use a chickpea pasta for even more protein), and peas! It’s so simple, satisfying, and perfect for a cozy dinner at home.

For this pasta, you can use any pasta shape and type that you like! I used a brown rice gluten free bowtie pasta here, but this would also be perfect with penne or rigatoni noodles! If you don’t need this to be gluten free, feel free to use your favorite regular pasta!

I used pesto flavored chicken sausage for mine, and it was amazing! This would also be so delicious with a spicy Italian or sweet Italian sausage. You’ll want to use sausage links that are pre-cooked from the package (not raw sausage links from the butcher counter).

The sauce is extremely simple and SO delicious and creamy. It’s a mix of marinara, milk of choice, and cream. A little parmesan gets mixed at the end for extra creaminess, too! The sauce can be made spicy using red pepper flakes, but if you don’t like spice then go ahead and skip it!

This chicken sausage pasta dish is so simple, flavorful, and makes for the best dinner any night of the week. I can’t wait to hear what you think if you give this one a try! Enjoy! xo
