The best oven baked ribs you will ever make! Only 3 ingredients, super easy to make, and fall right off the bone!

It doesn’t get much better than tender and saucy ribs, especially in the summertime! These ribs are the best because you don’t need a grill to make them, and they are super low maintenance. Plus, that 3 ingredient flavorful sauce can’t be beat!

You can use any BBQ sauce that you love for these ribs. I love to use one that isn’t too sweet, and has a good smokey flavor to it. But again, use any that you love!

All you need for this recipe is:

  • Ribs
  • BBQ sauce
  • Apple juice
  • Salt

That’s it!! So simple you would never believe how amazing these turn out.

We cover the ribs in about half of the BBQ sauce and apple juice mixture, cover with foil, and stick them in the oven for the initial low and slow bake.

While the ribs bake on low, we will thicken the remaining BBQ sauce mixture on the stove to get it nice and thick.

After 2 hours, we’ll remove the foil, add the remaining thickened sauce, and stick them back in the oven at a higher temperature for a little bit longer. This final bake gets the sauce nice and caramelized on the ribs!

This recipe is:

  • Gluten free
  • Dairy free
  • Soy free
  • Nut free

Just be sure to check your BBQ sauce ingredient list to cater to your own needs! I love to use a lightly sweetened BBQ sauce here, as I think they get plenty of sweetness for my taste from the apple juice!

If you give these a try, I’d love to know what kind of BBQ sauce you use and love for this recipe!

That’s it! The most simple recipe and process for the most amazing fall off the bone ribs ever. I can’t wait for you all to make these ribs. Be sure to leave a comment and rating below if you give them a try! Enjoy! xo

Description

Easy 3 ingredient oven baked ribs that fall off the bone!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 22.5 lbs baby back ribs, membrane removed*
  • 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 8 oz apple juice
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Season both sides of the ribs with salt. Lay out on a large baking sheet (if you need to, you can cut the ribs in half to fit them on your pan). Pour about 1/2 of the BBQ sauce mixture on the ribs. Use a spoon to spoon as much of the mixture from the pan on top of the ribs as you can.
  2. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 2 hours.
  3. Meanwhile, add your remaining BBQ sauce mixture to a small saucepan. Simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. After 2 hours, remove the aluminum foil and baste the ribs with the thickened bbq sauce. Increase oven temperature to 400°F. Return to the oven, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

*Note: you’ll need to remove the membrane from the ribs- most butchers will do this for you if you ask!
