Description
Easy 3 ingredient oven baked ribs that fall off the bone!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2–2.5 lbs baby back ribs, membrane removed*
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 8 oz apple juice
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Season both sides of the ribs with salt. Lay out on a large baking sheet (if you need to, you can cut the ribs in half to fit them on your pan). Pour about 1/2 of the BBQ sauce mixture on the ribs. Use a spoon to spoon as much of the mixture from the pan on top of the ribs as you can.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 2 hours.
- Meanwhile, add your remaining BBQ sauce mixture to a small saucepan. Simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- After 2 hours, remove the aluminum foil and baste the ribs with the thickened bbq sauce. Increase oven temperature to 400°F. Return to the oven, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
*Note: you’ll need to remove the membrane from the ribs- most butchers will do this for you if you ask!
